WebJul 17, 2024 · I believe the source of the problem is Tinkercad. I've loaded "complex" objects into Tinkercad and then exported them as STLs. The result is a lower resolution version of the original. So maybe Tinkercad has trouble with higher resolution STL files and can't render them properly.
