WebLooking for help with a diamondback explorer build for mining. I specifically like the open view of that ships cockpit and would like to start mining. I'm about 250+ flight hours in so i have a pretty good grasp on the game. I'm aware of Limpets just not how to use them and if it's worth just getting a type 6 and using two level 1 mining lasers. WebJun 7, 2015 · A Lakon T6 fitted like this goes from ~1 million to ~ 3 million - 3 times the base cost for a lot of cargo and good jump range. The Diamondback Explorer goes from base cost of 1.9 million to ~ 8 million - roughly 4 times base cost. The ASP goes from a base cost of 6.7 million to ~ 13 million - slightly less than 2 times the base cost!

Awesome maneuverability and decent for small combat. Also if you want to outfit it for range it (fully equipped) has excellent range of not the highest capable range next to the Anaconda.
